Terms of the Shore | Tidepool Star Cove

1. Who keeps the tide-pool station

These terms govern your use of tidepoolstarcove.com ("Tidepool Star Cove", "we", "us"), operated by the operator of tidepoolstarcove.com. Using the site means you accept them.

2. Who may come down to the pools

Tidepool Star Cove is for users aged 19 or over only. By using it you confirm that you are 19 or over.

3. Shore coins are virtual

All games run on virtual coins that we supply free of charge.
Shore coins have no monetary value; they count as neither money, credit nor property.
No coin may be purchased, sold, withdrawn, transferred or exchanged for money, goods, services or prizes, and the site has no in-app purchases.
No prize of real-world value is offered anywhere on the shore.
At any time we may adjust or reset shore coins, levels and features.

4. No real-money gambling on this shore

Tidepool Star Cove does not offer or promote real-money gambling, and no page of the shore links to a gambling operator.

5. Your field account

Cedar Boardwalk and Kelp Cathedral open with a free account. Each person may hold one account, and it must not be shared.
Keep your password private to you. If someone else has used your field account, tell the research hut immediately.
Your account page lets you delete the account whenever you like. Deletion takes effect at once and is permanent.
A field account may be suspended if it is used to disrupt the site or if we believe its holder is under 19.
Shore coins, levels and missions sit with the field account; they are not your property and may be reset.

6. Fair conduct on the shore

You must not try to disrupt the site, turn automated tools on it, offer coins for trade or allow anyone under 19 to use it.

7. When the boardwalk closes: availability and liability

We provide the site ‘as is’ and may alter or withdraw any part of it. Any malfunction voids all plays and pays. These terms do not limit any liability that the law does not allow to be limited, and they leave your statutory rights untouched.

8. Which law applies to the shore

Ontario law governs these terms, along with whichever federal laws of Canada apply in the Province of Ontario.
